Password Reset (WSA)
Objective: Change or reset your Microsoft user account (or “work account”) password.
Notice: Password policy is defined by your company’s policy and may have several requirements. Such requirements may include: minimal length, uppercase letter, number and special character.
Change Password
To change your password, follow the following steps:
- Using your internet browser, visit "https://myaccount.microsoft.com" and sign in if prompted
- Locate the "Password" tile and click "CHANGE PASSWORD"
- On the Change Password screen, review your company password policy
- In the "Old password" field, input your current user account password
- Input a new password in the "Create new password" field
- Identically input password above in the "Confirm new password field"
- Click the "Submit" button
You will receive an error in the event you entered an incorrect old password, new password doesn't match or password is not compliant with your policy. If you successfully changed your password, you will be returned to "My Account" page.
Forgot Password
If you forgot your password, use the following steps to reset:
- Using your internet browser, visit "https://myaccount.microsoft.com"
- Locate and click "Can't access your account?"
- When prompt for your account type, select "Work or school account"
- On the "Get back into your account page", enter your work email address in the "Email or username" field
- Complete the human-verification (or "CAPTCHA") field and click the "Next" button
- Review the next steps to reset your password using your backup method (defined by your company's password policy)
- Input a new password in the "Create new password" field
- Identically input password above in the "Confirm new password field"
- Click the "Submit" button
You will receive an error in the event you entered a new password doesn't match or password is not compliant with your policy. If you successfully changed your password, you will be returned to "My Account" page.
Still unable to login?
As your Microsoft Partner, we have the ability to reset your password. If you still cannot sign in to your Microsoft account, we are able to issue you a one-time temporary password. Please call (610) 639-1130 and select Option 1 to speak with the Service Desk. You will be required to verify your identity to protect your account and data.
