Enabling SMS
Included with our Business Voice license, you may elect to have SMS (or "text messaging") enabled per phone line. Once enabled, the licensed user may send and receive SMS from their primary line using the soft-dialer for Android, iPhone, macOS, or Windows. Additionally, select compatible SIP devices may have the same capability.
Note: SMS can only use the primary number assigned to a user. We cannot register secondary numbers for use in SMS service. Additionally, SMS feature cannot be enabled for any phone number assigned to an Auto-Attendant, Fascilme, Hunt Group, or virtual service.
