Reset a device
Objective: Unassign consumed licenses and factory reset a Samsung Galaxy device.
Warning: This action is irreversible and deleted data is unrecoverable without a backup!
To factory reset your device from Knox Configure:
- Expand your "Knox Configure" service and select "Devices"
- Locate the device(s) by IMEI or Serial Number that you want to factory reset
- Check all desired devices, click on "Actions" and select "Reboot or factory reset device(s)"
- When prompted, select "Factory reset device(s)"
- Click "Confirm"
Upon confirming, a command will be sent OTA to the designated device to perform a factory reset.
