Getting Started: Elevate Rooms
The following information provides information on meeting functionality for Elevate Rooms.
View Meeting Information
To view Meeting Information, tap the Info button in the upper left corner. The following meeting information will be displayed:
Meeting URL
Meeting's Phone Number
PIN
View Attendee List
The list of attendees is located on the left side of the screen:
Manage Web Camera & Microphone
To turn the microphone on/off, tap the Unmute/Mute button (left button).
To turn the web camera on/off, tap the Start video/Stop video button (middle button).
Select Media Devices
To change the audio and video devices directly from the Controller screen, connect the Display App and initialize the meeting on the Display App. System Devices are selected by default when Settings are opened for the first time. To select media devices:
- Tap Settings in the top right corner of the Controller App during a meeting
- Tap the device you would like to select
- Microphones and speakers can be tested before making a selection. Selected devices are saved between meetings.
Troubleshooting Media Devices
- If there is no plugged-in device of any type, a Not detected. Plug in device error is displayed. Tap on the device type to reset the device status information. If there is still no device available, an error popup will appear: Can't detect device. Plug in device and try again.
- If there are no plugged-in devices a No devices detected popup is displayed. If devices were plugged in tap Reconnect.
- If a microphone/camera device is disconnected, an error popup is displayed. Plug in the device and tap Reconnect.
Leave/End Meeting
To open the Leave/End menu, tap the Leave button which will show the following options:
Cancel - this option closes the Leave/End menu. The meeting remains active for the Room and all participants
Leave - this option disconnects the meeting room from the meeting but leaves the meeting active for other attendees
End for all - this option will end the current meeting for all participants. This button is only available for the meetings where the Room is a host (the Room started an instant meeting or was invited to a scheduled meeting)
